Proposal to add importance scale and attention category to the template

edit

The addition of importance scale and attention category should help prioritise improvement of articles. Peter (Southwood) (talk): 09:51, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

No comments to date. I will add a notice to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scuba diving.Peter (Southwood) (talk): 15:22, 12 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure it would help prioritise, Peter. If you look at the history of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scuba diving, the only contributions in the last twelve months came from you and me (except for one comment from Legis, after you dropped a note on his talk page). The importance scale is only to help members of wikiprojects prioritise articles for working on. Having implemented the assessment scale and assessing all the scuba articles, I can assure you that it's a lot of work for very little gain, as it is unlikely that any more than a couple of people beside yourself will make use of them. If you still feel it's a good idea, then by all means go ahead. --RexxS (talk) 01:44, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Add class=category

edit

Currently this template is being used on category talk pages and is adding categories (181 of them at this date) to the Category:WikiProject SCUBA articles which is basically wrong as they are not articles. |class=category should add them to Category:WikiProject SCUBA. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 07:50, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

If no-one has any objection I intend to have a go at coding this amendment. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 07:55, 18 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I don't think that's trivial. Far easier to alter |QUALITY_SCALE=yes to |QUALITY_SCALE=extended and create the seven missing categories using the links provided. This will put categories into Category:Category-Class SCUBA articles instead of Category:NA-Class SCUBA articles. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 07:32, 19 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I used the subpage for class method which was easier to do than to find out how to do, so is all sorted. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 12:00, 29 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
