That would transclude the interwiki links from Wikinews on Wikinewscat. Let me think of a good way to handle this, I'll get back. --Amalthea 11:39, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Well, the interwikis are now a mixture of wikinews and wikinewscat. It e.g. lists both de:Template:Wikinews and de:Template:Wikinewscat. I have an idea how that can be solved while still keeping them on unprotected pages, but wanted to check first if there's a best practise for such a case. --Amalthea 11:54, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
    • After some discussion at WT:Template documentation#Shared documentation, I've created a dedicated documentation here with a pointer to Template:Wikinews. This is similar to what other templates do, and seems preferrable to other solutions. Amalthea 09:04, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately the {{permprot}} template is not currently suitable for talk pages of pages which are only semi-protected. -- zzuuzz ^(talk) 21:59, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
