Thomas Jenkins (born 16 March 2001) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer. He plays as a winger or centre.

He previously played for the Penrith Panthers and Newcastle Knights in the National Rugby League (NRL).

editBorn in Boorowa, New South Wales, Jenkins played his junior rugby league for the Young Cherrypickers.
Playing career
editEarly years
editIn 2019, Jenkins played for the Riverina team in the Laurie Daley Cup.[2] In 2020, he was signed by the Penrith Panthers to play in their Jersey Flegg Cup side.[2]
2022
editIn round 25 of the 2022 NRL season, Jenkins made his NRL debut for the Panthers against the North Queensland Cowboys.[3] It would be his only first-grade appearance of the year.[citation needed]
2023
editIn round 16 of the 2023 NRL season, Jenkins scored his first try in the top grade during Penrith's 23-27 golden point extra-time loss to North Queensland.[4] In round 20, he scored two tries for Penrith in their 24-14 victory over the Dolphins.[5]
In October, Jenkins signed a 2-year contract with the Newcastle Knights, starting in 2024.[6]
2024
editJenkins played 5 matches for the Knights in the 2024 season, before being released early from his contract at the end of the season.[7][8]
