About Me

My name is Andrew Johnson and I am a Software Engineer. I have my Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences from Bowling Green State University. Currently I work at 1 Natural Way in Maumee Ohio, where I am their Senior Systems Developer / HIPAA Security Officer. I started working for 1 Natural Way in 2014. I manage a team of three other developers where we have built a proprietary durable medical equipment (DME) marketing and billing system. I specialize in building PHP applications using Laravel and Postgres. I am also a co-owner of BrandKenkt, which is a social media engagement platform that allows brands and retails to share social media content on multiple platforms. BrandKenekt is built using Ruby on Rails and Postgres and leverages Heroku.

2015 - 2016: I worked at the Agile Software Factory (ASF) at Bowling Green State University. At the ASF I develop and maintain android and iOS applications. I have build several applications including the BGSU Campus app, which allows students at BGSU to get the latest campus information, How Many, which is an application that is use to conduct research in both math and educational fields.
