The Genius Files is a realistic-fiction series by Dan Gutman. It features the adventures of the young twin geniuses Coke and Pepsi. Even before they learn of the Genius Files, a top-secret government program that uses child geniuses to solve to world's problems, they are caught up in a well-executed plot to murder them. They escape a burning school and two mysterious assassins only with the help of Bones and Mya, two undercover agents. Soon after, Bones and Mya are apparently killed by the children's pursuers.
