  • 0000 UTC, (1200 FST) – RSMC Nadi reports that Tropical Depression 01F has formed 35 km (25 miles) southeast of Avarua, Cook Islands.[2]
  • 1200 UTC, (0000 FST; December 1) – RSMC Nadi reports that Tropical Depression 01F has intensified into a category one tropical cyclone and names it "Trina". Simultaneously, they report that it has reached its peak 10-minute sustained wind speeds of 75 km/h (45 mph)[2]

  • 0600 UTC, (1800 FST) – RSMC Nadi reports that Tropical Depression 04F has intensified into a category one tropical cyclone and names it "Vicky". Simultaneously, they report that it has reached its peak 10-minute sustained wind speeds of 65 km/h (40 mph).[2]
  • 1800 UTC, (0600 FST; December 25) – RSMC Nadi reports that Tropical Cyclone Vicky has weakened into a tropical depression.[2]
