Re the Franklin River campaign:
editI was involved in the Sydney SWTC, then went down to Hobart for a while in 1982 to volunteer full time with TWS, and was active with TWS back in Sydney. I haven't read any of the subsequent histories of the campaign, so there may be a stack of references in there to assertions I have made.
btw, I hope those histories document:
Geoff Lambert's role in his pivotally useful submissions to govt enquiries and so many other things,
Haydn Washington, who lead lead the Lowe by-election write-in, and
Joan and Ivor Jones who lost their daughter Ros to the Denison River and responded by becoming stalwarts of the SWTC. I only later learnt why they they sometimes paused and looked a little lost.
