William Mobile Ashby (October 15, 1889 - May 4, 1991) was an American civil rights activist. He worked for the Urban League for many years, especially the chapters in Elizabeth and Newark, New Jersey. He is also an author, most notably of the biographical non-fiction book "Tales Without Hate."
