GlassQUBE Coworking
GlassQUBE Coworking is a company that provides coworking or shared working space and services for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), startups, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. It was founded in 2015 and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.[1] On September 7, 2015 GlassQUBE Coworking announced that they are developing a 100,000 square foot custom built coworking business center at the corner of Nadja Street and Hazza Bin Zayed STreet (formerly Defense Road) in the Abu Dhabi city center. Additionally, on November 1, 2015 they announced the opening of a smaller 20,000 square foot coworking space at an undisclosed location within the Abu Dhabi city center.
Oil and gas revenues and services account for approximately 50% to 75% of the UAE's annual GDP. The rapid and sustained decline of oil pricing through 2015 brought the issue of domestic economic diversification to the forefront of the UAE's strategic planning. GlassQUBE Coworking's stated objective is to provide entrepreneurs and SMEs in Abu Dhabi and the greater UAE leading edge business facilities coupled with active community management and in-house professional support programming in order to facilitate and nurture a sustainable, organic economic diversification away from the Emirate's oil and gas dependent economy.
GlassQUBE Coworking was founded by Fahad Al Hbabi and Bernard Lee.
