Circa Theatre is an actor's co-operative theatre in Wellington, New Zealand, founded in 1976 by a group of leading actors.With its 'actors' theatre' policy and a carefully mixed programme of modern plays, Classics and New Zealand works, Circa soon established itself as a leading theatre. In 1994 it moved into a new, harbourside building with a main auditorium seating 263 people and a small studio theatre. [1]
