WHBS-TV is a student run, faculty advised educational public-access television station in Westlake, Ohio operated by Westlake High School.

editAlthough WHBS-TV follows the format of North American Call Signs it has never been registered with the FCC in part because it is a public-access station with no in-house broadcast transmitters. WHBS is actually an acronym that stands for Westlake High-School Broadcast System. Many times it is improperly referred to as The Westlake High-School Broadcasting Station or The Westlake High School Broadcasting Service.
