Akhun Kheil of Kounsh valley, Mansehra district, Pakistan
Akhun Kheil is a tribe which is located in Kounsh valley of Mansehra district of Pakistan. There are about 5,000 people in this tribe who live together in a village council (Harrori Khakoo village council). It is interesting and important to point out that all of these people are descendent of one person who is called Akhun Salak Baba but his real name is "Sayed Akbar Shah". It is also significant to know that they all have houses adjacent to each other and own farm land that is also adjacent to each other. The first patriarch of this tribe "Akhun Salak Baba" has a grave in a grave yard named after him (which is significant itself) and is located in Kabul Gram village across from Indus river facing black mountain. It is believed that Akhun was a title of piety give to Sayed Akbar Shah by the people. The location of their residence is marked on google earth and wikmaia. The grave yard of the patriarch is also called "Akhun baba ziarat" is also mapped.
