Nehemiah Jaleel Wade (born January 25, 2009), professionally and popularly known as Eclipse Craze, is an American music artist, producer, and a content creator. To this date, he has made 3 singles, his debut Traphouse, October, and Like Us, and one EP EXCCISTINCE as the founder and leader of the record label ERA X.

Early Life

Nehemiah Jaleel Wade was born, January 25,2009, in Jacksonville Florida, and later moved and raised in Fernandina Beach Florida. He had a childhood of a special one, he was always on top of his classes, never struggled in school, and was generally a good kid. His early love and passion was for cars, ever since he was a kid he has been obsessed with cars and trucks with at one point having a long term aspiration for the car content creator youtuber, Thestradman, that is something he always loved. Another thing he loved doing was writing, in class he would always grab 40 sheets of lined paper, and write stories, staple them, and kept them. Writing was something Nehemiah loved to do.

Later when he moved to Fernandina Beach, he discovered social media and this is when he began his second life. He first made a TikTok account under the name, eclipse cool, but later he made another one under the official name, Eclipse Craze. Soon after this he made a YouTube channel which he planned on pursuing but unfortunately later in years lost motivation and stopped uploading. By this time any social media he had was under the same name, Eclipse Craze.

The Name "Eclipse Craze"

The name choice always pondered people as it was really different and distinct. all the way back in 2015 was where it started. It was an afternoon in math/science class at Duval Charter at Baymeadows, which was one of the schools he attendedWond, and the lesson was about space, specifically solar eclipses. It was him writing a story for a book in the back of the class, not paying attention, he never did, but he always did well, and it was him and his friend Vincent. They were putting themselves in the book with made up names, and one of the names they were thinking of was "DJ". They argued about who should get the name, back and forth, until the teacher, Ms. McCall, mentioned solar eclipses, and it clicked in him, eclipse. He put that instead of DJ, and it would've stopped there, but later for kahoots and other games where he would have to put a name, he couldn't make up a name, so he put eclipse for the fun of it. Overtime he found himself using the name so much all the way till 5th grade, Which was when he moved to Fernandina Beach at Yulee Elementary School, when he got access to social media, he first used eclipse for it. Of course "eclipse" as a username was already taken, so he thought of "eclipse_cool" and that lasted for about a year till 6th grade. He was playing Call of Duty, one of his favorite games to the date, and he was playing SnD, he was the last one alive and he had to win for the team. When he was popping off, one dude, then later the whole team went saying "eclipse you crazy" "eclipse go crazy" which was stuck in his head. By the way he did win that game. Just like any other middle schooler who played games alot, he wanted to make a clan, and he was thinking on that to name it. He kept thinking of the clan "FaZe Clan", but of course he can't copy that, but the name was cool. Meanwhile that game kept replaying in his head because he never did that good before. "eclipse you crazy" "eclipse go crazy", was all he heard the he came to a solution. he took the sound of "faze" and put "craze". And the idea of the names like "FaZe Sway", he reversed that concept and came with idea of "Sway Craze". And of course he was the founder of it, he renamed himself, Eclipse Craze.

Music

At first, Nehemiah never thought about making music, he thought it was cool but never imagined it. In his freshman year of Yulee High School, the school he attends to currently, he was in his 4th period with his friends and they were bored, so they found a site Soundtrap, to make music. They made a beat and later Nehemiah freestyled on it, but this was all a joke, after all they only had 50 minutes to do this, so they did and an idea came to them, what if Nehemiah actually drops this? So he went home, and did just that, he didn't think too much of it as it was a troll song and just a joke. And his debut single, Traphouse was dropped on April 21, 2024. Later the school hears about it, jokingly, they hype it up, which influences Nehemiah to actually maybe try this music industry out. So he proceeded to drop his second single, October on August 27, 2024, which hinted something about his next drop, the date when the drop was. At this time. while taking things seriously, he made the record label he founded, ERA X, and dropped this and every song after this under that label. This song blew up, well not entirely, but for an artist like him, he did. He cracked over 2k streams and passed 1k monthly listeners. This was big for him, and thought to do more. On October 18, 2024, he dropped another single, Like Us, which blew up more sitting over 8k streams right now. This was an improvement for him as far as production but he needed more, so he made his first album EXCCISTINCE, in October 31, 2024, which was a hinted album from his single October. He made this with 2 featured artists, KaeSav, and his close friend, Tűs.x, with 6 songs Including Like Us (feat. KaeSav), Lavender, She Wanna (feat.Tűs.x), Street Talk (feat, KaeSav), Blessings, and Wonder Girl. This Album was a huge success reaching above 10k total streams and peaking his monthly listeners above 3k. One thing this album is that it shows what Eclipse Craze really wants to be, he included 4 completely different styles in it which is not common but shows how far he'll go to be versatile and diverse.
