Fret 12

Fret 12 is a company started by Dan Tremonti, his uncle Tom Tremonti, and his brother and lead guitarist of Alter Bridge and Creed, Mark Tremonti. Founded in late 2008, Fret 12 first started off as a company to release Mark Tremonti's guitar instructional DVD, The Sound and The Story. As of today, the company has expanded to selling guitar merchandise such as guitar instructional DVDs, shirts, guitars, and other guitar accesories. It also features forums and interviews with other guitarists in which the fans send in questions and are answered by the artists via webcam and posted to the Fret 12 website.

Creation and DVDs

Fret 12 first started when Dan Tremonti asked his brother Mark Tremonti if he wanted to make a guitar instructional DVD and Mark accepted. Mark Tremonti : The Sound and The Story went into production and with that, Fret 12 was created. Originally created for Mark's DVD release in late 2008, Fret 12 went on to do another guitar instructional DVD, this time with legend, Leslie West, which was released in mid 2009, and then Troy Stetina's in 2011.
