Daniel Borisis an American cartoonist, artist and storyteller. He is a graphic artist by day and a passionate creator of fantasy outside of work. His most well known works are Hoxwinder Hall and in the spring of 2015 his new children's books
His current projects revolve around themes of childhood, friendship, humor and playful imagination. Hoxwinder Hall and Dozi are his major outlets for his understandings of the world. Through the eyes of a boy and his alligator, Dozi, his work tackles classic themes of curiousity, sibling relationships, power, mistakes, stowayas, consequences, misunderstandings between cultural and the price of curiousity. Innocence colors the pages even as the pair gain experience.
Daniel Boris cartoons feature timeless themes. Stowing away, a secret friend, a bossy big brother with amazing hair. His vivid memories of his own childhood followed him into adulthood and overflowed from his daytime job as a graphic artist at K12.
