Freddo Espresso,[1] originating from Greece (Greek: Φρέντο εσπρέσο, Fredo Espresso, [freɪdo ɛˈspreso]) is a method for making cold esspreso coffee. A small amount of nearly boiling water is forced under pressure through finely ground coffee beans, similar to how espresso is made. Then, it is cooled down quickly by mixing it with ice in a drink mixer.
