Libana is a female choral group from the United States that performs contemporary and traditional music and dance from around the world to shine a light on the creativity, vision, and spirit of the world's women. They have appeared at festivals, universities, concert halls, and conferences internationally, and are hailed as "troubadours of peace," for connecting cultures through their performance of global music. Current members are Susan Robbins (Guitarist, Keyboardist, Percussionist, Pianist, Strings, Vocalist), Lisa Bosley (Percussionist, Vocalist, Wind), Allison Coleman (Percussionist, Vocalist), Marytha Paffrath (Percussionist, Vocalist), Linda Ugelow (Bassist, Percussionist, Vocalist), and Cheryl Weber (Percussionist, Vocalist).
Libana was formed in 1979 by Susan Robbins in Boston, Massachusetts and began as a group of 25 women committed to performing women's music from around the globe.
