Kakomu is an alum of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Roosevelt University.
Kakomu resides in Illinois and works in downtown Chicago. He is current employed as a paralegal and IT support in a small law firm dealing with products liability. His interests include Photography, graphic design and computer programming. Having gone to school for a liberal art, he expends most of his free time pursuing his interests independently.

The website is run on a server running Debian Lenny. The server is running on VirtualBox, which runs in the background of his Desktop. He currently uses an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 with 8GB of DDR2 memory. He runs Windows Vista Ultimate, a gift, courtesy of Microsoft, handed out at a Technet event.
Kakomu is currently reading books every day on the Metra train on Java programming so that he may, someday, be able to develop applications on mobile devices, such as his Blackberry Curve. He has more books on Object Oriented Programming and C++ waiting to be read.
Kakomu is an advocate for fiscal responsibility and against corruption.
