Career

edit

In 2019, Trilly made a crucial decision in his life to drop his pro-basketball career and go after his first love which is music.

In June 2019, he released his debut single I Like, produced by Ljay Currie. Later that year, the rapper changed his stage name from Chika to Trilly and he admitted how artistes like Tory Lanez, Lil Baby, Sade Adu, to name a few have grossly influenced his music. The single, which garnered airplays across radio stations in Nigeria and the United States, was also premiered and reviewed online by Lambo Xtra magazine.

In May 2020, Trilly announced the release of his anticipated single AY Bishhh[3][4], when he shared the album art on his official Twitter page[5] and hinted the video on his Instagram page with a short teaser video[6]. In June, he released the video for the sophomore single "Ay Bishhh"[7][8]. The track was produced by Jay R and the video was directed by Mike Wilds and described as Salacious[9] by The Culture Custodian. The video reveals glimpses of the singer's dire desire to uncap the hidden treasures of sensuality.

Trilly has hinted the release date for his new music with Tory Lanez[10], and he also announced he has a Glenn Mena, Joe Moses, etc.
