St Peter's Church, Zermatt
St. Peter’s English Church is a beautiful historic building in the centre of Zermatt which holds a special place in the hearts of many walkers, climbers and skiers. It has many links with the history of Zermatt and the Matterhorn, where it has been a place of both celebration and mourning, to this day the remains of the Revd Charles Hudson, who perished on the way down from the first ascent, lie under the communion table.
