Hi there, my name is Onyx and I'm from the United Kingdom. I love editing pages on Wikipedia to make sure they are as accurate as possible, particularly when it comes to historical context. I like to use the name of the country that the person in the article was born in at the time. i.e. Sweden-Norway for example.

I do understand that in some cases, this would be inappropriate, especially when it comes to something like the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and the SSR states for some pages. In that case, I will use the existing name instead, such as Estonia and Ireland.

While I do try to maintain neutrality when editing pages, I may make the occasional mistake here and there. If that is the case, please do contact me on my talkpage, and I'll endeavour to fix the problem.
