Miss w is a writer and librarian with a background in comparative religion. Born in Western New York, living in greater Boston; graduated from Tufts in 1992, and Simmons in 2000, with time spent in Albuquerque in between.
I'm politically moderate, sometimes leaning right, sometimes leaning left. Most of my Wiki participation is likely to be in fandom issues, as that's where I feel most knowledgeable and able to help, though I also am happy to contribute to articles on smaller communities that I happen to be aware of (and can find verification on), like my home town of Perry, NY or my Boston neighborhood, Brighton, MA, which are places that "outsiders" simply might not think to write about, but which it's interesting to have an encyclopedia-style source on, rather than local "Gosh wow!" tourist pages.
