• Comment: Concur with the previous comment about WP:NCORP but also want to note that the article is littered with WP:CORPTRIV and business jargon that makes it very difficult to evaluate which of its 90 sources have anything in-depth to say about the company. Has a bit of a WP:COMMERCIAL tenor. VRXCES (talk) 11:45, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: I am dubious about the article's passing of WP:NCORP, I would appreciate it if you gave the best 3 sources you believe indicate it does. Many of them are just minor announcements. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 17:59, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Gamezop is a plug-and-play gaming platform that allows apps and websites to integrate casual games directly into their platforms without requiring users to download individual apps for each game.[1] Founded in 2015 by brothers Yashash Agarwal and Gaurav Agarwal, the company is headquartered in Gurugram, India. Gamezop has expanded its offerings to include Quizzop, a quiz platform; Astrozop, which provides astrology content; and Criczop, a cricket-focused content platform.[2]

The company operates using a B2B2C distribution model, collaborating with apps and websites to distribute its products, including Gamezop and Quizzop. Partner developers receive a share of the advertising revenue generated from the users they direct to Gamezop’s platforms.[3]

As of 2023, Gamezop’s products had been integrated with over 8,000 apps and websites across 70 different countries. Notable partners include Amazon, Samsung, Tata Play, Times Internet, and AccuWeather.[4] The platform claims to help its partners grow their user engagement (through its content offerings) while generating advertising revenue.

History

edit

Gamezop was founded in 2015 by brothers Yashash Agarwal and Gaurav Agarwal.[5] The idea for Gamezop originated from Yashash's observations about the inefficiency of downloading apps for casual gaming.[6] Gamezop addresses this by embedding HTML5 games directly into apps and websites, which allows users to play games seamlessly without needing separate app installations.[7][8][9]

In developing Gamezop, the company adopted HTML5 technology to ensure games could be played across different devices and platforms. Gaurav Agarwal, who had previously worked at Bain & Company, joined Yashash in building the company, contributing his experience to the company's business strategy.[10]

Since its founding, Gamezop has added other content offerings beyond HTML5 games, namely Quizzop (for online quizzes), Astrozop (for online astrology content), Newszop (for online news), and Criczop (for online cricket news).[11][12][13]

Products

edit

Gamezop offers 250+ wide range of HTML5 casual games across various categories, including action, puzzle, sports and arcade games. Gamezop's platform is integrated into various apps and websites, providing users of those apps / websites access to its collection of online games.[14]

Quizzop is an online quiz platform featuring quizzes across multiple categories, including general knowledge, entertainment, sports, and science. Astrozop offers astrology services including horoscopes, love compatibility, fortune-cookie readings, and tarot readings. Like Gamezop and Quizzop, Astrozop is also available as a plug-and-play integration to apps and websites.[15] Newszop is a plug-and-play solution that can be integrated within apps and websites as a news centre. It offers verified, real-time news and trending stories from trusted sources.[16] Criczop launched in 2023, this platform provides live cricket scores, matches, commentary, latest news & trending content related to cricket.[17]
