Since its inception in 1935, the Empire Trophy was hosted at five different circuits and awarded for ten separate racing categories. With the exception of a few lengthy breaks, the series has an impressive record of 42 editions, spanning over eight decades, making it one of the longest and most prestigious racing events still in existence.
