Contribution to XSL-FO community
editThe company has devised a DTD for XSL-FO documents[2][3] and holds three patents of converting XML to PDF.[4][5][6] RenderX is one of the 335 members of the World Wide Web Consortium[7] and a contributor[8] to OASIS.
Products
editRenderX's main product is a Java-based XSL-FO formatting engine called XEP, which converts XSL-FO documents to printable form (PDF or PostScript). XEP is free for academic and personal use.
XEP conforms to Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL), a W3C recommendation. It also supports a subset of the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).[citation needed]
