I am 23 years old and I like using computers, I also like contributing to Wikipedia, I am good at coming up with new ideas for wikipedia and share them as much as possible even if they not very good.
Tasks I currently carry out on wikipedia
edit
- I edit articles which I feel need my attention
- I also monitor articles for vandalism and revert it as necessary and report any vandals.
- If feel it is appropriate I create pages which give more info on the subject
- I discuss things on appropriate Article, User and Wikipedia Talk Pages
- If appropriate I give my input (or view) on user request or user reviews
- If required I discuss matters relating to Wikipedia at the appropriate place on the Communication Article in the Wikipedia Namespace
- I check for Block Evaders (Block Users editing as an unregistered User) and report if I find any and alert Sysops and Checkusers to any more IP's I suspect are being used by the Blocked User.
Reasons I would go for RfA
edit
- Being able to review deleted content
- Undeleting articles to user-space per user's requests
- Deleting Articles that have had
{{csd}}
or {{afd}}
transcluded on them
- Helping out at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions granting Rollback, Reviewer, Confirmed and Account Creator Rights
Reasons I would go for RfB
edit
Things I would avoid and get other Sysops/Crats to do
edit
- Deleting Articles I feel unsure of or haven't been transcluded with
{{csd}}
or {{afd}}
, In this situation I would get another admin to check it for me
- Blocking Users (Unless User has already been reviewed for blocking by either another admin or a checkuser)
Tasks I hope to carry out on wikipedia
edit
- Deleting/Undeleting Articles
- Protecting/Unprotecting Articles
- Working with User Rights Requests and RfA's
- User Blocking
