Lake Argyle City is a visioned city that would be constructed on the shore and major islands of Lake Argyle in the Eastern Kimberly Region of Western Australia. The city is only a theory thus it's existence and construction would be effected by the gradual population rise of the Australian continent. The city would be a major centre for when Australia requires more infrastructure in the northern part of the country. The city would accommodate an estimate of 150,000 residents and contain a large number of major retail shops and industrial reserves. The city's economy would come from local mining, agriculture and tourism. The expansion of the current hamlet of Lake Argyle is expected to occur in around 10-15 years time.
