Ben Etim Akak is a philanthropist, businessman and the CEO and Chairman of Bengies Group of Company and Ben Akak Foundation, he is also a gubernatorial aspirant for 2023 Cross River State gubernatorial elections under the All Progressives Congress. Ben Akak is an engineer by profession. [1]

editBen Akak was born on the 1st of January 1970, he is a native of Ito Idere Ukwa in odukpani local government Area in Cross River State, he is the chairman of bengies group, which has affiliates in the construction, oil and gas, and services sector. Services include bakeries, foods and beverages, Ben Akak claims he started his business with just 40,000 naira.[2]
Ben Akak is also the founder of Ben Akak foundation, a non governmental organization that provides medical care, educational support and equip young people to become change makers in the society[3]
