When not contributing to Wikipedia, Pulpculture (born November 3, 1971) is a newspaper editor and columnist who writes weekly about the intersection of popular culture and politics.
His real name is Franklin Harris (sometimes credited as "T. Franklin Harris, Jr." or "T. Franklin Harris"), and currently he is assistant metro editor for The Decatur Daily in Decatur, Alabama. His "Culture Shock" column appears Thursdays in The Decatur Daily and the TimesDaily. Formerly, he was online editor and wrote the weekly column "Pulp Culture," which focused on comic books, science fiction, and horror movies. Before that, he served as both a business reporter and an education reporter. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Auburn University and has written freelance articles for a variety of entertainment and political web sites and magazines, including a 2005 article on EC Comics for Reason magazine.
He resides in Athens, Alabama.
