editThanks very much for your help on this drive. May I offer a gentle reminder? You are assessing the articles accurately and well but sometimes forgetting to update the article class parameter (ie class=B
or class=start
) after you've done the hard work on the criteria. I do this sometimes myself so I understand how easy it is to overlook this :) All the best, and keep up the good work, --ROGER DAVIES talk 23:31, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
I noticed you created this list. Thank you. Hopefully, it will inspire others to add lists for the other countries of the world.
I've added a bunch of stuff to the list, leapfrogging what you've done.
You're turn. :)

AfD nomination of List of basic Canada topics
editI have nominated List of basic Canada topics, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of basic Canada topics. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. ukexpat (talk) 19:05, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Lists of basic topics for countries
editInstead of creating these lists in article namespace where they can be sniped before they are completed, I've added them to the task section of the Lists of basic topics WikiProject. Each drafts should remain in the draft subsection of the WikiProject's space until they are complete enough to transfer to the article namespace without fear of being summarily nominated for AfD. Feel free to work on any or all of them.
In case you get to some of the redlinks before I do, there's something I need to tell you... I've created a new skeleton for making basic topic lists for countries. See Template:BLT country.
Don't let the AfD for Canada get you down. The nominator obviously wasn't familiar with the basic lists project.
No worries.

Deletion of "Dodge Challenger Concept"
editSorry but I have to give this to you instead of rallyinspired.
Dodge Challenger Concept
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dodge Challenger Concept, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Dodge Challenger Concept. 66.19.205.124 (talk) 22:15, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, that was me not logged in. --Carerracarerra 22:18, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
I've fleshed out the subtopic structure a bit.
The list should be completed ASAP to address the concerns raised at AfD.
The more complete it is, the easier it will be for others to understand its purpose and value.
The Transhumanist 23:34, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
There are a few sections left to complete.
Could use your help.

Thank you. Nice job. I've added some more. The Transhumanist 19:59, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Wikiproject Boston Celtics April Collaboration
editYesterday, Paul Pierce which was nominated by Basketball110 was selected as April's Collaboration. The nomination is avaliable here. If you were not able to vote, we look forward to you voting in May's collaboration which will be avaliable in late April. However, as of now Boston Celtics remains March's Collaboration. Please see the to-do list for the article on it's talk page. Thanks, Newsletterbot (talk) 01:32, 14 March 2008 (UTC) The above message was an automatically delievered message from Newsletterbot. What was your intention?
editI noticed you "commented" at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of basic Canada topics, but I couldn't tell if you were being neutral and didn't want to be counted as a vote for or against the deletion. Note that the closing admin (whoever that might be) may have the same difficulty when it comes time to close the discussion. What is your position with respect to keeping or deleting the article? Or are you staying neutral? Please clarify that in the AfD. Thank you.
The Transhumanist 22:11, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Never mind. After reviewing all the new work on the list, the nominator has withdrawn his AfD nomination.
Thank you for creating it.

- The icons could be anything to do with the arts. Like an Emmy or Oscar.. A movie clap board.. A movie set. Just anything in that nature. I am an entertainment historian so anything like that fits me well. I forgot about the picture in the signature, although I still see a lot of people with them! Thank you so much for your help! News
editI thought I should get it out of the way now instead of later.
I am not going to be as active if not inactive with editing on Wikipedia. I have other things now to keep me busy. Like a house, school, support my Red Sox =), and a girlfriend to keep me occupied. I have really enjoyed this time with you guys and value your friendship. I will still continue to check my talk page, so I'm not retiring. Of course, I'm still doing the fantasy baseball league. Feel free to ask me questions about this on my talk page.
Once again to make it clear, I WILL STILL CHECK MY TALK PAGE, SO IF YOU WANT TO TALK OR CHECK IN, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.

PS When are you free to do the fantasy baseball draft?
