Who I Am
I'm the founder and the head of staff of freenode and the executive director of Peer-Directed Projects Center. I usually describe myself as "...another boring cooperativist propertarian Peircean pragmatist anarchist...." My main IRC nickname on freenode is lilo. I've programmed computers since 1968 and I've worked in the computer field since 1978, as an administrator and an applications programmer. My work on freenode has been to try to help improve the quality of cooperative effort in peer-directed project communities such as the FOSS community. As a result of that effort, I get trolled some, and I handle it as best I can. For more information on me and on what I do, feel free to read the freenode website, most of which I've written, or my personal blog.
On Wikipedia
I've contributed to articles on Wikipedia anonymously up through 1 July 2005 and as RobLevin before discovering the joy of having a space embedded in your user ID, and I imagine I'll keep this account. I look forward to editing more Wikipedia articles as time allows. I also contribute to Wikipedia by helping with problems on its discussion channel on freenode.
Please don't edit my user page in ways which abridge its content or my intent. Thanks!
