Hario V60

The Hario V60 dripper (commonly known as the V60, or Hario V60) is a pour over coffee brewer designed and marketed by Hario, with the purpose of making pour over coffee.[citation needed] The name ("V60") comes from the V shape, and its angle of 60°.[1] [2] [3] The brewer was released in 2004.[4]

Design

The internal sides of the V60 have interior ridges which help with increasing airflow during the brewing process.[1]

Extraction

It is suggested that the V60 has its own unique character notes, allowing it to differentiate from other pour over brewers.[6]

Filter Paper

The V60 uses a cone shaped filter paper.[citation needed]

Methods of use

Typically, the V60 is used by pouring hot/boiling water into the cone, with a paper coffee filter and ground coffee inside.[citation needed]
