Aidan Keane

Aidan John Keane (born 28th November 1967) is a British designer, writer, TV Presenter and restaurant investor.

He is the founder of International design group, Keane Brands and well known as the presenter of Channel 4’s Big House Little House.

Recognised by his often described as larger than life persona, Aidan is involved in and responsible for some of the world's best restaurant and entertainment brands and experiences across the UK, United Arab Emirates and the USA.

Aidan is regularly recruited to guest speak at industry conferences. Amongst these are recent restaurant and drink brand conferences in London and Berlin

Born and raised in Solihull in the Midlands of England, he was educated at St Peter's Catholic School in Solihull prior to training as a graphic designer. He worked in various agencies prior to starting club promoting and DJ'ing in underground clubs and bars. In 1995 he established the design and branding business, Keane, with his wife Louise.

Clients include Virgin, Emirates, Burj Al Arab hotel, Nando's, Costa, easyGroup. He was specifically constructive in the development of All Bar One for the Mitchell's and Butlers in the UK and this lead directly to the formulation of Keane Brands.

In 2017 Aidan began a series of home design shows called Big House Little House, which was produced by Raise the Roof Productions for Channel 4 in the UK.

Outside of design Aidan is a keen Racketball player and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest Racketball marathon standing at 27hours and 55 minutes, set in May 2016

Early Life Aidan John Keane was born and raised in Elmdon Heath in Solihull. His parents, Micheal and Bridie Keane were both born in Roscommon in the Republic of Ireland and met and married in England. Michael was a demolition contractor. Aidan is the youngest of eight siblings, having one brother and six sisters. He was educated at St Peter's Catholic School in Solihull and was a keen sportsman representing his district at football and athletics

Personal Life Aidan lives in Edgbaston with his wife Louise. They have three sons, three dogs and two cats. He is a Racketball player and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon played, setting the record for continuous play at 27 hours and 55 minutes in May 2016
