Critical reception
editSandwitches was praised by critics due to its energy and arresting rap music. Boomkat stated "These suburban LA kids have more punk spirit than most punk artists you could care to name, and when Mos Def emerged after the set screaming “SWAG!”, it was clear that their path is laid out. Let’s just hope they don’t lose the spark – for now we’ve got ‘Sandwitches’ to remind us just how arresting rap music can be. Highly recommended."
