Welcome All!
My name is Tim and I am a 20 year old science lover.
I started off on Wikipedia as a part of the AP Biology Class. I was very naive and I, along with my partner Vancemiller, tried to tackle a medical symptom article: Hypertrichosis. The article wasn't a complete failure (it currently is a B-class article), it was just way out of our league at the time. At the start of the second semester, I decided to step it up on the Wikipedia project we had been assigned. Our class had the option to work on either the loggerhead sea turtle or the black mamba article. Vancemiller and I both chose to make sure we did our best on the loggerhead. Thanks to the efforts of myself, Vancemiller, SunCreator, NYMFan69-86 (another student in our class that took the bog turtle article to FA status), all of those who listed suggestions, and our teacher, the loggerhead sea turtle article is now at FA status.
In the process of being on Wikipedia, I kind of can say I got hooked. I plan on continuing my Wiki career and broadening the type of articles I do. I will most likely only ever do science related articles. I will stick to animal articles for now and then maybe try to get some medical articles done as well.
Despite a long hiatus from Wikipedia, I've returned to improve new articles of interest.
