Hi, I just started editing wiki articles.
Early Career
editAs 15 year old children, my brother and I tried fixing the grammar on a wiki page. We were new to the internet and had heard that Wikipedia was maintained by people. So, we thought we'd do our bit and improve that page. With no knowledge of the general guidelines for editing wiki pages and without an account, we went right ahead and fixed what we thought were issues. We opened Wikipedia the next day to be greeted by a message saying that edits made from our IP address were reverted and that we were recommended not to make any more of that sort. Or something like that. Both of us were utterly terrified of what we had done so we closed the browser window and pretended that we saw nothing. Yet here I am today trying to contribute to Wikipedia once again.
Plus, the citation needed stickers on the xkcd store always made me laugh.
