On iCarly, Sam's tooth falls out, leading Carly to take Sam to the dentist. When the doctor gives Sam laughing gas, Sam accidentally reveals that she and Freddie shared a secret kiss with each other. And what's funny or worse is when Spencer teaches an art class in a prison with actual prisoners being watched by the cops. In the end, the prisoners escape and the iCarly gang are duct-taped onto chairs by them.

Viewers: The season premiere was viewed by an average of 7.564 million viewers.[2]

On iCarly, Sam and Freddie show their viewers how to make "Spaghetti Tacos". Food TV calls to invite them to be interviewed. During the interview, TV chef Ricky Flame comes in and challenges them to a "Food Fight," competing over who can make the best Spaghetti Tacos. When the iCarly gang wins, Ricky is crushed, and quits cooking forever. Spencer has a vision of the future, that he will hug a character (Nug Nug) from Galaxy Wars when he is shocked by Sam's new 100-volt locker security system, and goes to great measures to make sure it comes true. The iCarly gang try to console Ricky, after he lost on Food TV, by tempting him with cooking, but in his depressed stage, his head falls in the salad. Later, he sends them a video, telling them to meet him at the wrestling ring. When they get there, Ricky is wrestling little kids because he figured out that he doesn't like to cook, but he likes to win, and when he's fighting kids, there's no way he can lose. After the gang learns of his true greedy nature and Ricky harasses Carly by wrestling and pinning her down, Sam brings him down, asks for steak and the show ends

Viewers: "iCook" was watched by an average of 3.766 million viewers.[6]

When Carly has trouble finding a date to a dance, Sam hatches a plan to get her a date. During iCarly, Sam ties Carly to a chair (and duct tapes her mouth shut) to invite Seattle-area boys to apply to be her date. When the gang is overwhelmed by the amount of boys who show up, they hold a speed-dating session. Carly convinces Sam to ask Gibby to the dance since no one else did, but Sam becomes enraged when Gibby turns her down because he has a girlfriend named Tasha . Meanwhile, Spencer tries to lose weight with the help of a mobile phone application.

Viewers: "iSpeed Date" brought an average of 4.656 million viewers.[8]

Spencer hires a rodeo coach for Bull Riding Lessons, but sits on Spencer. In the end, Carly, Sam, and Freddie's scheme to get Principal Franklin his job back with the help from the other students work.

When Sam pilfers a box of Lewbert's "deeply personal items", the kids discover he once had a happy life with a woman named Marta. Since he seemed happier with Marta, they decide to track her down and reunite the two. Meanwhile, Spencer is partnered with Chuck to track down a burglar who has been stealing television remotes throughout the complex. Marta and Lewbert reunite but little did the kids know, Marta is a domineering psychopath who spawned Lewbert's misfortune and his wart. In the end, Spencer discovers Chuck was stealing the remotes and calls the police, but Lewbert takes the blame so he can be locked up away from Marta.

Viewers: "iFind Lewbert's Lost Love" has an average viewers of 5.036 million viewers.[14]

Note: In the beginning of the episode, Carly and Sam are seen singing a "I'm a Number One" by Ginger Fox, which was featured in "iFix a Popstar," even though the episode did not premiere until later in the season.

After Mrs. Benson pushes Freddie too far by making Freddie eat asparagus while doing iCarly, showing people at school his baby pictures, and vacuuming his ear while he was sleeping, Freddie gets upset, moves out and gets his own apartment on the top floor of Bushwell Plaza. In the meanwhile, Carly, Sam, and Freddie start a pet photography business, only to see their studio destroyed by a snooty competing pet photography business owners Stewart Butler and Ollie Paisley. In the end, Marissa realizes she needs Freddie, begging him to return; Freddie makes her promise not to embarrass him in public ever again.

Viewers: The original broadcast of "iMove Out" brought an average of 5.669 million viewers.[16]

The iCarly gang meets Fleck and Dave, the two kids who run the "Fleck and Dave Show." But they show their "difficulties" when Carly and Sam arrives. They get compared, Dave to Carly, and Fleck to Sam. In the meantime, Spencer tries to win a boat and becomes obsessed with the contest. During the arguement, Carly and Sam are outside the window washer's platform without harnesses and nearly cost them their lives. In the end, the Four, together, make a film called "The Blowing."

Viewers: 8.8 million total viewers [20], surpassing last season's top-rated episode, "iFight Shelby Marx."

Note: "iQuit iCarly" is the fourth hour-long iCarly Movie [21] as first announced, and is also shown in two parts ("iDiscover Fleck and Dave" and "iSplit Up").

Carly, Sam, & Freddie go out to film iCarly, using Carly dressed as a bunny on the street. She is offering to brush people's teeth for $1 as part of an "Fan Dare" segment. Then, as they cross the street, Carly doesn't notice a taco truck turning the corner. However, Freddie notices the truck and pushes Carly out of the way, causing him to have moderate to major injuries, but he saved Carly's life. Sam and Spencer fight in an intense game of assassin. Then, Carly develops a crush on Freddie, and after she kisses him, they begin dating. But Sam tells Freddie that Carly likes him for his actions, and not himself. The two decide not to take the relationship any further until the whole "hero" thing wears off, and if Carly still feels attracted to him, they'll try the relationship again.

Viewers: This episode premiered to 11.2 million viewers, making it the highest rated live action telecast in Nickelodeon history, as well as the #1 telecast of all TV (cable and broadcast) that night. It scored a 2.0 rating for adults 18-49, a series high. It is also the highest rated iCarly episode ever.[22] On February 12th and 13th, Nick aired an extended version of the episode, which includes seven minutes of scenes cut from the original episode. Sam admits to her friends that she was a former child beauty pageant contestant and was suspended due to her being suspected of pushing a candidate down a stage, but was being framed, then convinces Carly into competing against her old rival. Spencer and Freddie find a card game that chases their dates away. Eventually though, when Sam learns she can enter the pageant (because she was suspended for 7 years, which was 7 and a half years ago), she enters again, hoping to defeat her arch-rival. Sam actually gets her wish, because she won the pageant.

Note: After Sam leaves the stage, Quinn Pensky from Zoey 101 is heard.

Viewers: The original broadcast of "iWas a Pageant Girl" brought an average of 5.2 million viewers; was the #1 basic cable telecast overall, and was #1 among Adults 18-49 in its time period in basic cable with a 1.1 rating.[26]

While Freddie helps Gibby's girlfriend Tasha find a gift for his birthday party in the iCarly studio, Tasha accidentally falls on Freddie when Gibby walks in and thinks Freddie "macked on" Tasha, so he challenges Freddie to a fight on iCarly. Freddie learns that Gibby is an amazing kickboxer and is being trained by Sam. Spencer is mistakenly reported dead because of natural causes, so he capitalizes on the opportunity to sell his art for more money than if he was living. But then he realizes he doesn't want to be dead anymore because its boring sitting in the house for one week so he tries to tell people he's alive. In the end, Freddie shows Gibby a webcam video (that has been watching some bread with one that has jelly and the other is peanut butter) that has been sitting there for one week, and it caught the video of Tasha actually falling on Freddie. Gibby sees it and after he does, he apologizes to Freddie. Gibby says, "I feel like turd." Soon after, they become friends again.

Viewers: The original broadcast of "iEnrage Gibby" brought an average of 4.8 million viewers; was the #1 basic cable telecast overall, and was #1 among Adults 18-49 in its time period in basic cable with a 0.9 rating.[28]

So, they're able to undergo tests for space travel, competing against the web show called "Exercise Rocks." During Then, Spencer is bothered by a mysterious little girl who follows him through the whole apartment. And in the end, the little girl does the same to Carly, but only exits.

Viewers: The premiere broadcast of "iSpace Out" brought an average of 5.339 million viewers, and was the #4 basic cable telecast for the week, but again #1 on basic cable for the evening. It was also #1 in the Adults 18-49 demographic with a 1.1 rating.[30] [31]

Note: The "iSpace Out" DVD will be released on August 31, 2010. It will inclue 6 episodes plus bonus iCarly trivia and a bonus Victorious episode.[32]

Carly, Sam and Freddie are shocked when they find out that they have to rehearse with Ginger Fox, a talentless, shrewish popstar. And things become a disaster when Ginger hasn't had a rehearsal in 7 years in her age 26. Spencer begins dating Charlotte, Gibby's mother, but has difficulty kissing her when he realizes she looks too much like Gibby, but Charlotte says Spencer looks too much like Carly. When they start kissing, Spencer sees Gibby's face, and Charlotte sees Carly's face.


Viewers: The premiere broadcast of "iFix a Popstar" brought an average of 3.831 million viewers, and was the 18th basic cable telecast for the week, but again #1 on basic cable for the evening.[35]

Freddie learns that Sam is in juvie, and will not get out in time to do iCarly. Carly is determined not to cancel the show since her father will be watching, so she asks Spencer to fill in, which will prove difficult since he has a date that same night.

Absent: Jennette McCurdy as Sam Puckett. This is the first time that any of the iCarly cast members were absent in an episode. McCurdy was in the hospital during the week of taping.[1]

Then, they devise a coded SOS message and get it to Gibby, who's doing home repairs for Spencer in exchange for setting up a camp in the loft.
