Hi! I'm Paige Julianne (she/her/hers), a 40-something post-operative transgender woman. I am a native North Carolinian who has lived in the Research Triangle metropolitan area for over twenty years and calls it home. I was previously married to a cisgender woman, and we have two daughters who are both teenagers now.
I have been a software engineer and systems administrator for over 28 years, concentrating on dynamic web applications built in PHP on the backend. I work for the Major Extremity Trauma Research Consortium (METRC) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I oversee our clinical electronic data capture system, REDCap, which supports two dozen longitudinal research studies.
I also study business administration with a concentration in information technology management at Western Governors University.
