Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:Ymblanter. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Alex Bakharev (talk) 01:59, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Information icon I noticed that you have posted comments in a language other than English. When on the English-language Wikipedia, please always use English, no matter to whom you address your comments. This is so that comments may be comprehensible to the community at large. If the use of another language is unavoidable, please provide a translation of the comments. For more details, see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. It is OK for users with very low command of English to politely ask for help using languages they might know better. It is not OK for a user who self-assesses his language proficiency as en-5 to use another language on this wiki to harass other users. Alex Bakharev (talk) 02:03, 2 March 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to List of active rebel groups, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 21:47, 22 March 2015 (UTC)

1) You added them to the "Groups which control territory" list. 2) Per the most recent news, Abdul Rauf was killed in February, and that, "Islamic State controls swathes of Syria and Iraq and has a small but growing presence in parts of Afghanistan." Small but growing presence is not equivalent to any form of control of territory in Afghanistan. Unless you have a more recent reliable source suggesting otherwise, they cannot be included (although there is an argument that they could merit inclusion in "Other groups"). That would require starting a new section on the article's talk page in order that other editors form WP:CONSENSUS that a recognised 'small presence' merits inclusion. We need to be careful in order to avoid WP:CRYSTALBALL and WP:RECENTISM. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 22:11, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Your recent talk page comments on Talk:Belarus were not added to the bottom of the page. New discussion page messages and topics should always be added to the bottom. Your message may have been moved by another user. In the future you can use the "New section" link in the top right. For more details see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 06:14, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Aha, my apologies, Ilya. Yes, I see what's happened. The section was added back in 2011 and left unsigned, meaning that it won't get archived automatically. I've now found the that date of the entry and used Template:Unsigned to add the date of entry. Once a signature and date stamp are added, the section will be picked up by the bot for archiving. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:10, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
Iryna, no problem:) Ilya Drakonov (talk) 08:50, 8 August 2015 (UTC).

Пожалуйста! It's much better to get information from more than one editor. All editors have their own interpretation of good practice, but Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy. In this way, you can get feedback from more than one experienced editor. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 23:42, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
Iryna, you know Russian? Ilya Drakonov (talk) 03:54, 15 August 2015 (UTC).
Yes, I do. I haven't had any call to speak it for many, many years, so I'm terrible at trying to speak or write in Russian because I mix it up with Ukrainian. I can read it well and translate from Russian to English, though. It's useful for many of the articles I work on because I cite check sources in Ukrainian and Russian, plus can do so in Polish (although Polish takes me longer simply because it's not written in Cyrillic). I used to be okay at Belarusian as many friends of the family spoke Belarusian, but I really struggle with it now. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 06:42, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Iryna, you can ask me for any help in Russian, Ukranian or Belorussian! Russian is native for me, and my great-grandmother is Ukranian, so I know all East-Slavic Languges:) Feel free to ask:) Ilya Drakonov (talk) 07:24, 15 August 2015 (UTC).
Thank you. That's greatly appreciated! I'll keep it in mind. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 21:49, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Tskhinvali Railway station.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Tskhinvali Railway station.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 17:42, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

Notice

Hi Илья Драконов, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions.

Your account has also been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:07, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
