Hi! The BG-12 was designed by System Sensor under Pittway (the conglomerate that previously owned Fire-Lite, Notifier, System Sensor, etc) and was introduced in 2000. Pittway, along with Fire-Lite and the rest of its life safety companies, were acquired by Honeywell in 2002. Destin (talk) 16:06, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
