Talk:Neuromicrobiology
note
editI like the introduction section. I think you do a good job of explaining what your topic is. You can add subheadings using one of the dropdown menus in your tool bar. I think the history section is helpful for showing how this is a relatively new field but also how its expanded since its start. Definitely need more info about Neuropathology, do you have sources for that section? The microbiome section is interesting, but I feel like there may be more examples than the GABA one? Suggestion on writing style
editGreat start here. Rather than write text like, "a study published in 2004 reported alterations in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) system in mice that were born and raised in a sterile environment." I recommend writing something more like, "Mice that are bred and raised in a sterile environment have alterations in the HPA axis that can be linked to their microbiome. ^ref" (with the acronym written out, of course.) Read through a couple of well-developed pages to get this encyclopedia-like writing in your head when you start working on this again. Make sure to focus on the neuro side of neuromicrobiology for this course. ProfJRL (talk) 22:14, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
