How did you choose the editors you notified about the move discussion? --NeilN talk to me 20:48, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
- @NeilN: I invited editors who edited the page before or other pages related to football in UAE, I thought they should be aware of the move and have a chance to provide their opinion UA3 (talk) 21:01, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
Mohammad bin Salman
editHello, I believe I have made a mistake in removing the reference, however, Mohammad bin Salman is not the youngest office holder anymore as it appears chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz is the youngest head of office today. https://www.newsmax.com/thewire/sebastian-kurz-worlds-youngest-leader/2017/12/18/id/832386/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by WeiszGypsy305 (talk • contribs) 04:55, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- @WeiszGypsy305: Thanks for the clarification, I edited the article accordingly.UA3 (talk) 06:58, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 31
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017–18 UAE Arabian Gulf Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romarinho (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

UAE Lower Divisions
editI’m also not sure about “UAE lower divisions” but i think they probably have one because i’ve been noticing that the bottom team has disappeared and replaced by a new team so i just thought there’s probably a lower divisons for teams that mysteriously disappear from the 2nd division, currently the best source i could find was this site https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-2018/league/23159079/emirati-lower-division, tho i don’t know if it’s accurate or not, if your still confused if you check on the latest 2nd division sites you will notice that Ras Al Khaimah (who finishdd 12th last season) is gone and replaced by a new club called Al Taawon. This sudden change can’t just happen so sudden randomly, right? Badass Flare (talk) 06:36, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Badass Flare: You're right, it's not random, Division one clubs have very limited support from the local government, so if they tend to withdraw from the competition to cut their loses , this happened to Ras Al Khaimah club last season. Thanks UA3 (talk) 08:34, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
Davide Mariani
editVandalize what? I've edited that based on reliable sources. You can check out on Transfermarkt to see yourself. GiofanniRahman (talk) 16:42, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- @GiofanniRahman: Hello, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source in any way, even there it doesn't say anything about Davide Mariani replacing Álvaro Negredo in Al-Nasr Dubai SC, we can't commit such edit without providing a reliable sources. Regards, UA3 (talk) 21:13, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- @UA3: Okay, my mistake. Davide Mariani is actually join Shabab Al-Ahli Dubai not Al-Nasr Dubai SC. I'm sorry for my incorrectness, i've edited the page.
Disruptive editor
editHey, there. I see you're doing the hard work of checking and reverting the poorly-sourced edits on LGBT-related pages by the IP-hopping user. These all seem to be the work of the banned user Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jacobkennedy/Archive. I've had a long back-and-forth with their socks on Talk:Death penalty for homosexuality, and they've probably attempted to remove the sourced content from WP at least a dozen of times there by now. Just so you know. They're nothing if not persistent, so I would recommend semi-protection requests. Since I can be considered an involved editor in this series of disputes, you're welcome to ping me if you need help. Eperoton (talk) 02:57, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
Judi Dench
editAs per the edit on Judi Dench 's site of her nationality. Her Nationality is unlikely to be "English" (since afaik there is no such nationality). British is the nationality of people born in England, Scotland, Wales (I don't want to comment on Northern Ireland Citicens Nationality at this point) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.187.88.146 (talk) 11:32, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
- @81.187.88.146, You're confusing nationality with citizenship, nationality is an ethnic concept, citizenship is a legal or juristic concept, as per personbox you can use the additional option of "citizenship=". Regards, UA3 (talk) 12:16, 20 October 2019 (UTC)

editNice work! You're learning vandal in Wikipedia. After a week you should apply for rollback which grants you WP:HUGGLE which makes it easier to remove vandals. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk (We are the champions, my friends) 13:08, 21 October 2019 (UTC) |
- I've also noticed you around a lot recently - you've beaten me to quite a few reverts, nice work! I'm just going to supplement what CAPTAIN MEDUSA says with a plug for Stiki - if you're not used to using a diff browser, I find Stiki to be an easier way to learn how to use them than Huggle, which can be very fast-paced. You should perhaps try them both and see which one you prefer. Cheers! GirthSummit (blether) 15:13, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you CAPTAIN MEDUSA and Girth Summit for the support and suggestions, I think the current workflow with Twinkle is not bad, but probably I'm missing something, I'll request rollback permission and try both of them after that. Thanks again for the warm welcome, UA3 (talk) 21:00, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

- Ha - not quite yet, Cap! I agree with you UA3, Twinkle and the Recent Changes feed are actually what I still use more than anything else, it's just what I'm most comfortable with. Stiki is brilliant though for finding old vandalism that slipped through the net - it remembers edits that Cluebot thought were questionable when they came in, and puts them into a queue for patrollers to look at. I've found months-old vandalism with it before, it's pretty cool. Huggle's immediate - you literally see edits the moment they're made, and can revert and warn the culprit with a single mouse click or keystroke, even more quickly than with Twinkle. They all work well in combination, like a sort of ecosystem. GirthSummit (blether) 07:28, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks Girth Summit, I was confused between both tools, it's clearer now. Regards, UA3 (talk) 15:32, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Arabian Gulf Futsal Cup
editPlease stop the WP:POV as Arabian Gulf Futsal Cup is clearly referring to the Arab states of the Persian Gulf per the title.--Bijanii (talk) 12:58, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
- Bijanii, I know you assume that I have the WP:POV just because I'm an Arab, but I don't care if the gulf is called Arabian or Persian, in fact, I reverted several edits from Arabian back to Persian like [1] [2] and others. I removed the category because it's not needed, not that many articles on Futsal for this region. Regards, UA3 (talk) 00:08, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

- Here's an excellent reason. With these edits[3] User:Mickeygainz removed images for 7 different articles and added one for the one he seems to be promoting. But much worse, he added his name to sourced text although it's not in the source. Doug Weller talk 13:59, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
