Hello. As per the note I added to the related IP user talkpage, the content that has been added has previously been published elsewhere for several years. This previously published content was labelled as a copyrighted/rights-reserved work ("© 2014 Killoe Young Emmets - All Rights Reserved"). If the copyright status of this work and content has been changed, then the burden is on the contributor to demonstrate this. For information on how this can be demonstrated, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Until then, please don't re-add copyrighted material. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent reposting of copyrighted materials will result in a block from editing. Thanks. Guliolopez (talk) 12:02, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello again. You may have missed this note in the recent series of edits, but it is worth highlighting again that continued reposting of copyrighted material (however well-intentioned) will result in a restriction of editing rights. If you are indeed the owner of that copyrighted material (and I don't doubt that you are), then you will appreciate that the rules in this area are in place to protect your rights. (Imagine if someone else republished your material without permission. And if the processes here allowed them to do so. Without any governance or validation). Anyway, as noted, the process for granting permission/rights to material already online is not especially complex. Please consider taking a look. Continued edit warring is not the way to go - and is not going to be fruitful. Cheers. Guliolopez (talk) 12:09, 2 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Killoe-Jersey.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Killoe-Jersey.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 00:28, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Arcadialongford (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I would like to request an unblock. Any links added to websites are added to provide a source for the claim or citation on the website itself. In no instance have I ever attempted to remove an existing source and replace it with one from a page I manage. I have always only added a link to a page I manage if that page is relevant to the provision of a credible citation for the reference within the article. The page I manage does not generate any revenue, is not linked to any revenue or personal gain generation of any type. It is a page which researches and publishes statistics relating to amateur gaelic games and nothing more. I don't believe my username gives the impression of any business, organisation or group but am very happy to change it if that is required. The name is simply a combination of two names, Arcadia which was the ancient name for a portion of what is now Greece and Longford which is a placename in Ireland. The combination has no relevance in of itself, and is not a company and has no links to any business that I or anyone linked to me has any invovlement in. I do not generate any revenue from anything I add to Wikipedia and never have done.

Decline reason:

If you still can't edit, follow the instructions you see on the screen to make an unblock request involving an autoblock. Or don't edit from a shared IP. I suspect you're going to experience this problem fairly often from your current location. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:27, 25 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This account isn't blocked, but you are making a very specific unblock request, leading me to think that you are subject to some sort of block. What led you to make this request? 331dot (talk) 22:55, 16 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
