Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Ashishtambe. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Draft:Tina Tambe, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GSS (talk|c|em) 17:36, 2 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, No, haven't been paid or a COI. I just want to contribute on the subject of Kathak and Kathak exponents.

Thank you for your response but there is some outer-wiki evidence that confirms you have a close connection, either personally or financially with Draft:Tina Tambe so I request you once again to disclose and follow the COI guideline. If you need any help you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and another Wikipedian will show up. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your comment this will automatically produce your name and the date. Thank you. Yes, I've been associated with the subject, but have no COI. I'm following Wikipedia's content and neutral policy to prepare the content.--Ashishtambe 15:55, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

@Doc James:, I carefully read the COI policy. Therefore I disclose my relation with Tina Tambe that she is my spouse. Considering the COI, I wouldn't edit the article directly. Kindly provide the access to edit the draft. --Ashishtambe 07:46, 24 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
