There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Widr (talk) 09:28, 1 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry

edit

Hello Asociace inovativního farmaceutického průmyslu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:03, 1 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am sorry with the name. I proceeded in compliance with the rules of the Czech Wikipedia. I would like to ask you to change my username. To make sure - I do not mean to promote, just to create a useful article for some who might come across the Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry. It cooperates with many foreign subjects on education of public and doctors, patients´ awareness etc. It is definitely not about promotion of pharmaceutical industry or the member companies. Furthermore, it is a part of pan-European projects such as Dislosure Initiative and again someone might come see the abbreviation or association´s name and Wikipedia is a useful tool how to get basic information quickly. Thank you.

Procedural decline- no response to question after 3 days. PhilKnight (talk) 23:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • You obviously have some personal connection to that Association. According to our WP:COI policy, that means that you shouldn't be writing articles about the Association regardless of your username and regardless of the content of the article. Do you agree no to write about that Association if unblocked? Vanjagenije (talk) 16:48, 2 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • I've renamed your account. To get unblocked, satisfactorily answer the question by Vanjagenije. PhilKnight (talk) 22:16, 2 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
