Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:15, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Maps do not count for sources, read the Wikipedia rules, i have already showed you sources, you will soon be warned by an admin. --HistoryofIran (talk) 11:33, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

if maps doesn't count as "source" show us a source that says caucasia was part of sassanids in 7th c. at least I can show maps. and about admin warning; you scared the hell out of me. BöriShad (talk) 11:44, 25 July 2013 (UTC)BöriShadReply

The map you showed was made by a normal person, not a historian, meaning that it is not reliable. And i already did, take a look on the Armenia and Azerbaijan topic on the Muslim conquest of Persia article. --HistoryofIran (talk) 11:48, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

check this out Minorsky, Vladimir. A History of Sharvan and Darband in the 10th-11th Centuries. Cambridge, 1958. "In the late 6th to early 7th centuries the territory of Albania became an arena of wars between Sassanid Persia, Byzantium, and the Khazar Khanate, the latter two very often acting as allies against Sassanid Persia. In 628, during the Third Perso-Turkic War, the Khazars invaded Albania, and their leader Ziebel declared himself Lord of Albania, levying a tax on merchants and the fishermen of the Kura and Araxes rivers "in accordance with the land survey of the kingdom of Persia". Most of Transcaucasia was under Khazar rule before the arrival of the Arabs"

Cute quote, but where is the link for the source? --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:00, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

lol I don't need you to like or accept sources. just google it and find yourself.

That's not how Wikipedia works, where is the link? --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:07, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

check Caucasian Albania then, you can find it on that page

According to this: http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/sasanian-dynasty which shows readable information unlike your source, says that The Khazars were ravaging the northwest provinces, and it does not say that they conquered the northwest provinces, meaning that i am right. --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:14, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

according to Minorsky transcaucasia was part of Khazars until arrival of Arabs. page loading slow but you can find that book in here http://rbedrosian.com/Ref/Minorsky/minorsky.html BöriShad (talk) 12:18, 25 July 2013 (UTC)BöriShadReply

On what title can i find the information? --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:22, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I used "arabs" to find. BöriShad (talk) 12:30, 25 July 2013 (UTC)BöriShadReply

What? --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:41, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I just downloaded the pdf and i did not see any title saying Arabs, and all of the information is about the Shaddadids and Saladin, not about the Sassanids. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:11, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I was not talking about you, i was talking about another guy who was a Pan-Turk, if i meant you i would have said it, please use some common sense. --HistoryofIran (talk) 19:01, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

yeah, sure. you meant another guy...

What i said: And i only reverted the edits in the OTHER Turko-Persian wars because some Pan-Turk had removed it. Meaning that it was not you, try to use some common sense please. --HistoryofIran (talk) 21:09, 26 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please answer here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Dispute_resolution_noticeboard/Third_Perso-Turkic_War

And no, don't think if you don't answer it the article will stay like it is, because i will just ask an admin. --HistoryofIran (talk) 12:35, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

stop bothering me man! what the hell is wrong with you?BöriShad (talk) 13:02, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

It's your own fault, if you want your edit to stay then you have to do these things, if not, then i can tell the admin that you don't want to discuss about it and then the edit will be reverted back to what it was. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:11, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

no, it's not my falt but yours. didn't your parents teach you that bothering people is wrong?BöriShad (talk) 13:14, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

How can it be my fault? it was you that after all started this, don't be childish, are you going to continue the discussion about the article or not? if not, then it will be reverted back to what it was. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:23, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

you cant threat me like that. your nationalist sources has no place on wikipedia. if you'd check that page you'd already see that I posted ok. what kind of person are you?BöriShad (talk) 13:26, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am not threatening you, i will tell you what will be happen because you haven't read the Wikipedia rules, and if it were nationalistic sources then the admins would have said that long time ago, you should really read the Wikipedia rules. And watch your language, maybe you are used to people talk to you like that but this is not how it is here. And why didn't you just say that you already wrote ok instead of being childish against me? --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:29, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

there is nothing childish. you keep threating me, if you don't post bla bla. if you don't do that bla bla. just watchingand laughing you.

You should really learn the meaning of threat. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:41, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

As i said before, if you do not want to discuss about it then don't except your edit to stay like it is. And do yourself a favor and read the Wikipedia rules for god's sake. --HistoryofIran (talk) 15:56, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Kansas Bear (talk) 21:52, 17 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
