I have no words to reply, these white spaces are tremendously confusing and unpredictable! I'm quitting from now on! Can't say sorry for the third time though :( Billjones94 (talk) 18:25, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Taj Mohammed

edit

Hi Billjones! Hope you are doing well. I'm reaching you regarding the Taj Mohammed article as it seems it is quite a mess rn. I would appreciate if you can help me in this. Basically there have been two "Taj Mohammad" (both from Quetta) who have played for the Pakistan national team as you can already see in some of the sources in the article and all this has been mixed up. When looking for a picture for the article, I just saw there are many inconsistencies there as "Taj Mohammad Jr." is the one present in this pic (second standing from left to right) and here (bottom sitting at the far right). Here is an excerpt from Civil and Military Gazette which can't be accessed without subscription but it says: TAJ MUHAMMAD Jr.—Represented Baluchistan in the Pakistan National Championship at Karachi (1948), Quetta (1950), Dacca (1932) and Peshawar (1963). Toured Burma and Ceylon with Jinnah Gymkhana (1950). Member Pakistan National Team which visited Iran and Iraq (1950). Member Pakistan National Team which played against Iran XI In 1952 at Karachi. Captained Ordnance Football Club, Quetta since 1945.

Then when looking for the East Bengal player at the legends page, this is the picture which comes across. What is even more confusing is that in the picture of the 1940 Calcutta league Kolkata Mohammedan picture which I have recently attached to the article, he is the second standing from right to left, which IMO is quite different from the one in the East Bengal page. Any insights on this, would love to see your input. Cheers Throwawayjamal047 (talk) 23:45, 7 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
