BoundaryRider
Hi, welcome. Really impressed with the quality of your edits, and very happy to have another West Aussie with an interest in plants here. The other such editors are myself and Cygnis insignis; we are bound to be coming up on each others' watchlists.
If you're want to collaborate and/or keep tabs on relevant discussions, you probably should put a few talk pages on your watchlist; in particular
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Western Australia for Western Australia-related discussion; this has been a bit quiet lately.
- Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board for broader Australian discussion;
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Plants for discussions related to plants and botany.
But if you prefer to keep to yourself, then you are of course welcome to do so.
If you need any help, advice, administrative action, etcetera, drop a message on my talk page.

G'day mate; no worries. Just keep doing what you're doing, and give me a yell if you need anything. Hesperian 11:23, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Emu Export Logo.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Emu Export Logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 04:18, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to WikiProject Animals!
editHello, Boundary Rider! I noticed you have added your name to the WikiProject Animals participants' list. As you may have noticed, this project suffers a terrible dearth of members. Resultantly, the few editors we have (you among them) must run the project. Here are some tasks with which you can help, if you are so inclined:
- Create: Vinciguerria lucetia, Sphaerium beckmani (a species in family Sphaeriidae)
- Maintain: Portal:Animals; nominate DYKs
- Recruit more members!

Announcement
editHello! I'm The Arbiter, one of the coordinators for WikiProject Zoo. I am proud to announce the launch of a new portal: Portal:Zoos and Aquariums! ZooPro, ZooFari, and I worked hard to create a new portal for information on zoos, aquariums, and the associated projects and articles on Wikipedia. If you could head on over, take a look at our work, and maybe learn some more about zoos and Wikiproject Zoo, it would be great! Cheers and Happy Editing!

Did someone "borrow" my IP address?
edit{{adminhelp}} When I opened up my Wikipedia this morning, I was appalled to read a new message identifying an "unconstructive edit" in the form of an obscenity which appears to have originated from my IP address. My computer is firewalled, password-protected at the start, and I have taken steps to ensure no-one uses it in my absence, so I'm struggling to grasp how these events occurred. Any suggestions as to how this could have happened? I would like my sanity back, now, please. BoundaryRider (talk) 02:51, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry you got a message not intended for you. It's possible your IP is dynamic. What was the date the message was posted? It's also possible someone logged on to your wireless connection. --Diannaa (Talk) 03:07, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- I see they date back to July 2010. The most likely scenario is that your ISP dynamically allocates IPs, and just happens to have allocated you an IP that was allocated to some other customer nine months ago when the vandalism happened. Don't worry, this kind of situation is very common; no-one will blame you for the vandalism. Hesperian 03:20, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, people, that lets me breathe a little easier. BoundaryRider (talk) 08:06, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 6
editHi. When you recently edited Tourism in Brisbane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Russell Island, Queensland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. Origin of the suburb name Spearwood
editHi. The "to do list" on your user page indicates you have an active interest in Melaleucas. In particular on 26 December 2012 you called into question a melalueca reference in the article Spearwood, Western Australia "(removed "chipolata" from species name - vandalism?)" but the correction you effected was reverted. I believe you were correct however I have gone much further and removed the information from the article with a lengthy explanation on the Talk page which I invite you to read. You may be able to contribute further. Your watch may assist in identifying further vandalism. Lanyon (talk) 01:59, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:Lesmurdie Falls view from south track 2004.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Lesmurdie Falls view from south track 2004.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:27, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
