United States Senate election in California, 2010
editMy edits are not vandalism. And I hope you'll make your relationship with Brian Quintana clear. Thanks. Hairhorn (talk) 01:03, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Sorry to use the word "vandalism". I have no relationship with Brian Quintana and was glad to see his personal page go, however, you cannot change his ballot designation simply because you have strong feelings about the guy (as documented by your prior edits. You may be right about the guy as an individual, the Secretary of State is the final authority on ballot designations. The election has come and gone. That was his designation and he did garner 329,000 plus votes. I was not one of them, but the line must be drawn somewhere.
- Also, if you want to call me "dismissive, racist, classist and in total violation of Wikipedia's policies" I'd appreciate you saying it to my face or at least taking it to WP:ANI, although note that personal attacks are not tolerated on talk pages. Hairhorn (talk) 01:18, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- I did not call you anything. I was talking about certain "actions" taken. Thanks for the undo. If the California Secretary of State got it wrong then we can vote her out in November. I don't know what to say about the 400,000 people who voted for Quintana. Cleverclaus (talk) 01:48, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
