Wrong wiki page linked

edit

Hi,

The wrong Scott Weiss is linked in this article. The one that should be linked is Scott Weiss former EVP at Turner Broadcasting System not Scott Weiss the venture capitalist. How can we get this fixed?

Thanks

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Scott S. Weiss, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.

Request reason:

Athaenara, I understand that you believe this page promotes advertising and promotion. That was never our intention. Again, we noticed that a project was attributed to the wrong person and we created this page so that the information would not be incorrect on the CNN Airport page. If you could offer us in guidelines for this to page to appear less like advertising, please do. thanks

Decline reason:

Wikipedia does not permit shared accounts. Additionally, the wording of the content you contributed was clearly meant to be promotional in nature. If that was not your intention, I'm afraid you are too close to the subject to be trusted to edit here. I also strongly suspect you've been violating WP:COI and WP:PAID. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

How is this a shared account? Bottom line is the wiki page CNN Airport Channel(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNN_Airport) is linked to the incorrect Scott Weiss (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Weiss). We would just like to know how to fix the items of concern on this draft so that the correct information can be published.

Decline reason:

You use "we" and "us" in your statements on this page. Shared accounts or accounts that represent a group are not permitted. As Yamla notes above, you seem to be violating WP:COI and WP:PAID, please read those policies and clarify your relationship to Scott Weiss. You might be permitted to make edit requests if information in article needs to be corrected, but you cannot edit in the area of your conflict of interest directly. You won't be unblocked if you are only here to publicize or promote people associated with CNN. If you want to edit about a subject unrelated to CNN or Scott Weiss, please state what that might be. I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 13:55, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
